Please Support the Volunteer Center. Make a Donation Today!

Dear Friend of the Volunteer Center,

Season’s greetings!

This is the time of year that we all take time to realize what we have, a time of year to be grateful for our blessings, our family and our friends.

We at the Volunteer Center are grateful for all of our volunteers and faithful supporters who give of themselves year after year to help us change lives through volunteer service. Without you, it would not be possible.

In 2011, we expanded our programs, providing even more support to the non-profit community and helping even more people in need within Gloucester County. We are excited to see that our work is really making a difference, but now, as we bring it to the next level, we are asking you to partner with us to continue the work.

As we all know, our economy continues to struggle. Social programs of all kind are being cut back or disappearing. At the same time, the need for the services they provide increases every day. How can the food pantries, who supply food every single day to struggling families, survive? How can the Red Cross continue with Blood Drives and essential emergency services with even less resources? How can our parks be cleaned, our senior citizens be cared for, our children be nurtured, as budgets continue to get cut? The answer is PEOPLE LIKE YOU, who care about your community and are willing to give back.

The Volunteer Center has a very simple mission: to CHANGE LIVES AND IMPROVE COMMUNITY SERVICE by connecting volunteers and providing effective support to the non-profit community. As we approach the end of 2011 and prepare for the start of a new year, the Volunteer Center is asking you to JOIN OUR FIGHT. Help us assist those in need and keep our community strong with a small gift of $20, $40, $60 or more.

As a caring member of our community, YOU have the power to be an essential link to create change. Even the smallest gift can make the difference – make your donation today!

Best wishes to you and your family throughout the holiday season, and a Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

June M. Bretz
Executive Director
